Time for Orders from All items ordered through the shopping cart on this web site will ship together, directly from the printer. |

| 1. | Please do not confuse 'Production Time' with 'Shipping Time.' The details on this page refer to how long it takes to get the order "out the door." See our shipping map to check on the time in transit once it leaves the printer. Our shopping cart offers a wide variety of shipping options. |
| 2. | Production time on non-printed items in the social division is 1 - 2 business days. For example, if you are ordering only envelope seals and blank thank you notes and your order is placed on Tuesday, it would leave the plant on Wednesday or Thursday. We do not count the day you place your order. The shipping method you choose will determine how quickly it gets to you once it leave the plant. |
| 3. | Production time on most printed items from the social division is 3 business days. See the "DETAILS" section below for information about how your order flows through our system and what possible factors on your part might slow it down. Please be sure to read that information. Again, this refers to the production time, and does not count the day the order is placed. The shipping method you choose will determine how quickly it gets to you once it leave the plant. |
| 4. | We offer a RUSH option for most of the printed items in the Cornerstone Social Division. The RUSH is an option on all announcements EXCEPT the photo announcements. The RUSH is offered at the bottom of the announcement order form. It takes one to two days off the production time; it does not affect the shipping time. If you wanted to get your order as soon as humanly possible, you could select the RUSH on the production time as well as priority overnight shipping! |
Important Details - how we process your order
- Once your order is placed
(and paid for), we will look over the text. If you've placed your order Monday
- Friday, we do this in the evening of the same day the order is placed. (See
this
page for information about exactly what we look for and what
we do in this step.) If we have suggestions or questions, we e-mail you.
- If we do not
need to contact you about the order, it goes into production the morning of
the next working day and is shipped two days after that (the third day after
your order is placed). For example, if you place on order
Monday afternoon, it will be proofread that evening, and if we do not need
to contact you, it will go to the printer Tuesday morning and be shipped on
Thursday. Often the production time is less than 3 days, but we suggest that
you plan for 3 days!
- If we have a question
about the order or suggestions on your text, we e-mail you the evening of
the day the order is placed. If we have an answer from you by 9:00 Central
Time the next morning, the order will not be delayed at all. If you do not
respond to our e-mail or phone call by 9:00 am on the day after you place
the order, that day will not count as a production day. The 3-day production
time period begins after the order is finalized,
so if we have a question, it is largely determined by
how quickly you respond to our call or e-mail. For this
reason we ask you to give us the best contact information that you can.
- The cut-off time for
the day's announcement orders is 5:00 p.m. Central Time. This means that all
orders that come in up until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday will go
into production the next business morning. Orders placed on the weekend are
entered into our system and looked over on Monday and then sent into production
on Tuesday morning.
- We recommend that you look at our "Proofreading Guide" to make sure that you've given us your order in the best form possible so that it does not become delayed by our needing to contact you about a common, easily-avoided problem.
