Deluxe Announcement # 11

Production Time:

The normal production time on this announcement is 3 business days after the order is finalized. Production time does not include shipping time, nor does it include the day your order is placed.
A variety of shipping options are offered in the checkout area.
If we need to contact you about your text, the production time does not begin until we have received a response from you.
We do offer a RUSH option an this announcement, which speeds up the production time. It saves you at least one day and costs $15.00.

What's Included (Please read carefully):

Flat silver ink is used to print your text. Silver ink is included in the price.
The yearline and crest are available only in the styles shown.
Use any of the lettering styles we offer. You have the option of using a larger font for the student or school name, or using "combination lettering" so that the name is in a different font. There is no charge to use a combination of two lettering styles.
You may use one of our suggested texts for the inside of the card, or write your own. This card has room for 12 lines of text, with 56 characters and spaces per line.
When this card is fully opened, there are three panels. The main announcement text is in the lower third of the card, with the year at the bottom below the blue foil stripe. The center panel has slots to hold the name card, and above that, in the center section, is an area where we can print a Bible verse, mascot, or motto. There is room for 4 lines of text and 56 characters and spaces per line.
The announcements are shipped flat and are scored for folding. This is a Z-fold card, made from a single weight 65# card stock, not French-folded paper. The card is scored in two places and must be folded, but does not require any complex folding. After folding, they measure 4.5" x 6". See this page for more information about folding.

Envelopes and Name Cards:

This announcement comes with bright white outer and inner envelopes. If you have questions about addressing the envelopes or wonder when you should mail your announcements, see our etiquette page.
Envelope printing is available for an additional charge and is offered at the bottom of the order form, just below the "add to cart" button for the announcements.
This card has slots to hold the name card. Name cards are a separate product. They are offered at the bottom of the order form, and in this section of our site.

You may elect to have us use a larger font size for the student's name. This looks nicest when the name is in the top half of the text, or in the center. (If you have selected a combination lettering style from the section above, the student's name will automatically be made larger.)

The bottom edge of the card is printed with the year. It is printed in the style shown on the sample. Please let us know which graduation year should be printed.

Optional Proof:
We can e-mail you a black and white .pdf proof after your announcement is typeset, however, it will add three days to the time it takes to fill your order. The proof takes two to three days, and then once we have your approval, the normal time for printing requires another three days. The proof is simply a way to view the final layout of the text in the letterstyle you've chosen. This is normally NOT necessary unless you are unsure about the lettering style or details of the layout. We "proofread" your text (and let you know if we have questions) regardless of whether or not you elect to view a final typeset "proof."

Optional Mascot, Verse or Motto:
Would you like to add a mascot or an area of text (Bible verse or motto) to the center panel above the name card area? The charge to add the optional area of printing to this panel is $8.00. If using a Bible verse or motto shown on our site, you may just give our title for that text (for example, "Motto #191" or "Isaiah 40 NIV"). If using your own verse, you must type the entire verse below exactly as you want it to appear. If you are using a Bible verse, we will put the verse in quotation marks, and the reference will be placed on a separate line under the verse, set off to the right side. However, since the amount of room above the name card on this deisgn is quite limited, it may not be possible to place the Bible verse reference on a line by itself.

Main Announcement Text:
For help with the wording, you may copy and paste from our page of text suggestions. This design has room for 12 lines, and 56 characters and spaces per line.

Your text will be centered on the announcement, and the lines will be spread out so that they fill the space on the card appropriately.

If you would like to have a blank line within the text (such as before the parent's names at the bottom), write "skipped line" on the line that is to be left blank.
If your text has fewer lines than the number of text boxes provided, put an "X" in the extra boxes at the bottom that you don't need.

Optional Corner Copy:
Corner copy is a line of type set off to the left in a smaller type size. It is normally used to say "Reception following" or 'R.s.v.p. by____'. If you would like corner copy, you must PROVIDE the text for the corner copy on the last line above. Selecting corner copy means you have one less line available for the text. (Tip: Remember, an Open House, by definition, should not require an R.s.v.p.)

Changes to the Text:
After working with thousands of customer's announcement texts, we have definite opinions about what looks best. Our customers accept 98% of our suggested changes, and we've never heard from anyone who wished they had not accepted our suggestions. To expedite your order, do we have your permission to make MINOR changes to the text without contacting you? Minor changes include:

Punctuation that does not change the meaning (punctuation is not normally used at the end of lines)
Capitalization to coincide with accepted use on social announcements
Moving a word from one line to another to improve the appearance or reading of the text.
Writing out abbreviated words -- 'Street' instead of 'St.,' or 'Tennessee' instead of TN.
Removing zip code from the address information -- zip code is not normally included.
Adding periods between the letters of acronyms for legibility if a script style lettering is chosen.

We will never change the spelling of names or places, we do not attempt to verify any addresses you've provided, and we will not rewrite your text. If we have suggestions beyond the minor ones listed above, we will contact you, so it is very important to give us accurate contact information when you go through the shopping cart, and then check your e-mail and voice mail. If we have questions about your text, we'll let you know, normally in the evening of the day you order.
